UPS和EPS的功能区别
EPS和UPS都具备市电旁路和逆变电路，但是EPS只具有持续供电功能，对逆变切换时间要求不高，目前大部分EPS还具备蓄电池单体检测功能。EPS在市电中断后才进行逆变输出，电脑利用率高。
而UPS一般强调其三大功能：对市电进行稳频和稳压处理；对切换时间要求较高的设备供电；净化市电。日常着重整流和逆变的双变换电路供电，电能利用率不高。但是UPS不仅仅是在断电时逆变供电，还可以在市电出现电压偏差大、浪涌等异常情况时提供稳定的电力输出，这是EPS所不具备的。

EPS主要用于消防类负荷以及一些对切换时间要求不高，但需要持续供电的设备。
UPS主要用于计算机、数字信息系统等对供电质量要求较高的负载。
